Movie Poster: Three’s a Crowd

I am a huge fan of romantic comedies; I know it’s cliché but they are my favorite. When I was tasked to create a movie poster, I immediately knew what genre it was going to be. I’ve seen enough rom-com movies and their posters to know what they need to make it eye-catching. But I knew I couldn’t go off of just my personal knowledge so I started by doing research on what the general aspects of posters are and what they need. I then brainstormed what plot my movie would have because this would ultimately be the key to my poster. After deciding that, I went to work and took pictures and went through my camera roll to find pictures.

I used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to complete my poster. I learned more in-depth about special awareness, white space, and sizing while creating this project.
